College Is Dead. Long Live College!
The author of this article challenges us to thinking deeply about MOOCs, relaying a story in which an 11-year old Pakistani girl connects with U.S. students to find a workaround when she is shut out of a platform used by her Udacity professor due to government regulation. The author then goes on to discuss another view of why students at the University of the District of Columbia (UDC) vow they would never take a physics course online and value their traditional setup in which no cell phones or devices are allowed.
